Tenncare Qualifications

1. Age

   Qualification Evaluation and Resources

   • In order for someone to qualify for TennCare medical services, they must visit their local Department of Human Services office. The employees there will evaluate the client's medical needs and qualification status for TennCare and make recommendations. If they qualify, the client must then fill out a TennCare application and file it with the state in order to receive TennCare benefits.
